Faced with tight budgets and a deluge of new regulatory challenges, legal departments have dramatically altered their priorities over the past three years, according to a new Thomson Reuters Institute survey.
The institute’s 2023 “State of the Corporate Law Department” survey found that “compliance/regulatory requirements” ranks as the No. 1 strategic focus for legal departments.
