Jason Kelroy revealed on LinkedIn Thursday that he will step down this month as general counsel of Kohl’s, ending a nearly two-decade run with the company that in recent months has been marked by turmoil and weak sales.
Kelroy, who has been general counsel since 2015, and the company did not immediately respond to requests for comment. On Linked In, he wrote, “As I begin my last full month at Kohl’s, I want to express my profound gratitude to every member of the Kohl’s legal team, past and present—as well as to all of my business partners—that made our many accomplishments over the past two decades possible.”
