Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer took on £88.3m of bank loans and overdrafts in the last financial year, according to the firm’s latest account filing on Companies House.

In the firm’s filing for the 12 months to April 2023, it references £15 million in bank loans, and £73.8 million in overdrafts, marking the first time since at least 2009 it has held any such debt, according to Companies House filings.
