A federal judge in West Palm Beach delivered bad news to a religious liberty organization, which engages in litigation related to evangelical Christian values, by cutting its over $2.2 million attorney fees request by nearly 70%.

Mathew Staver, chairman of the Liberty Counsel, is among the attorneys that represented the plaintiffs, who challenged the legality of ordinances enacted by the defendants, the City of Boca Raton and the County of Palm Beach, that prohibited sexual orientation change efforts (SOCE).
