Attorneys for investors who alleged that they were sold unregistered securities on the Binance platform have obtained the first tranche of settlements of litigation in a federal district court in Miami, from NBA star Jimmy Butler and cryptocurrency influencer Ben Armstrong, who were accused of promoting the digital asset platform.

Adam Moskowitz, the managing partner at the Moskowitz Law Firm in Coconut Grove, and David Boies, the chair of Boies Schiller Flexner in New York, have also moved for preliminary approval of the proposed settlement class, to appoint class representatives and to appoint them co-lead class counsel.
