While Georgia’s largest law firms promoted significantly fewer attorneys to partner last year, this year saw a reversal. The largest firms in Georgia sought to catch up, collectively promoting dozens of more lawyers to partner for 2022.
The Daily Report tracked the partner promotions from the 10 largest law firms by attorney count in Georgia, comparing the 2020/2021 period and the 2021/2022 period. According to that analysis, promotions at those law firms increased in Georgia by 29.5%. Firmwide, the 10 law firms saw an increase of 15.2%.
