U.S. firms have never been too trigger-happy, at least not in Asia.
It stands to reason. Over the years they watched many top American firms call it quits and shutter their offices in Greater China. It’s not surprising, then, that international firms, which for decades harped on about India’s legal market liberalization, are, now that it’s finally here, “umming and ahhing” over the merits of actually having an office in India.
