Praj Samant, a partner and global chair of Reed Smith’s energy and natural resources group, has been appointed as the firm’s Asia Pacific managing partner. He has relocated to Singapore from London to succeed disputes partner Kyri Evagora, who has returned to practice in London.
As a U.K.-qualified energy and regulatory partner with Indian-language skills, Samant joined Reed Smith as a partner in London in 2014 after close to a 14-year stint at McDermott Will & Emery.
