The labor and employment boutique that spun out of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith in May saw another sizeable group departure this week to O’Hagan Meyer, indicating the boutique may be on its last legs just five months after its launch.
About 34 attorneys from Daugherty Lordan joined O’Hagan Meyer in Los Angeles and Orange County, California, according to a Wednesday press release, bringing the firm’s total of arrivals from Daugherty Lordan to about 50. The move leaves Daugherty Lordan with only a handful of partners and associates who haven’t yet revealed where they plan to practice moving forward, including name partner Melissa Daugherty and CEO Tim Graves.
