Travers Smith has told its most junior lawyers they must be in the office four days a week and should not work in rooms without other colleagues around.

In an attempt to address the lack of face-to-face training that is affecting the wider industry, the U.K. firm has told its paralegals, trainees and new joiners they must be in at least “80% of the time”, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.
