Irwin Mitchell has opened two more offices in the U.K.
The operations, in Cardiff and Liverpool, will bring the firm’s total number of U.K. bases to 17.
The firm has signed contracts for office premises and said it is recruiting in the regions to bolster the new offerings, which will open in mid-May. Irwin Mitchell already has existing clients in both Liverpool and Cardiff.
The motivation behind the expansion is to ensure such clients are provided with “more flexible options for them to meet and work with the firm’s specialist teams”, according to a statement.
Julie Lewis, the firm’s Bristol office managing partner, will head up the Cardiff team as well as maintaining her role in Bristol, whilst Manchester partner Jonathan Betts will lead the Liverpool office.
Last year the firm adopted a ‘Flexible by Choice’ approach to hybrid working, meaning its employees could choose where and when they work subject to client requirements. Irwin Mitchell also recently moved offices in Southampton to a space suited to hybrid working, with “half the space devoted to collaborative working”, said the firm.
