Holland & Knight has poached 17 lawyers from Sánchez DeVanny, a large Mexican law firm, in anticipation of strong demand from investors who are looking to relocate supply chains closer to consumers in the U.S.

The acquisition brings seven partners, two senior counsel and eight associates with experience in corporate law, international trade, labor, social security, compliance and environmental law—as well as extensive contacts in Mexico’s industrial sector.
