Cescon Barrieu, a leading law firm in Brazil, has appointed Alexandre Gossn Barreto as its new managing partner, succeeding Joaquim Oliveira, who is transitioning out of the firm.
Oliveira will be taking on “new challenges in his career” after five years at the helm, the firm said. He has been hired by Seneca Evercore, a financial advisory firm focused on M&A, restructuring and capital markets in Brazil, where he will be a partner focused on restructuring.
