Candido Martins, a small transactional firm from Brazil that focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate, tax, capital markets and wealth planning, has chosen to open its first international office in Spain.
Founding partner Henrique Martins relocated to Madrid in December with his wife and three children to court European clients. The firm considered opening in New York to be close to private equity clients in the U.S., or in Lisbon for language affinity, but instead opted for Madrid.
