Winston & Strawn will soon be under new leadership for the first time in nearly two decades.

The Am Law 50 firm is elevating litigation leader Steve D’Amore to chair-elect, Winston announced Wednesday. In June 2024, the firm said, he will replace Tom Fitzgerald, who has steered the firm for the last 17 years, helping it cross the $1 billion mark and expand across four continents.
