John Roesser, a former partner at several major law firms, was sentenced to time served and three years of supervised release Tuesday after pleading guilty to one count of making false statements under penalty of perjury and submitting falsified records in the course of his personal bankruptcy proceeding.

U.S. District Judge Analisa Torres did not impose a fine for Roesser, who owes millions of dollars in unpaid taxes, penalties and interest.
