Former Philadelphia hospital Hahnemann University Hospital has agreed to pay a $32 million settlement after a couple’s child was born severely brain damaged following a more 10-hour-delay in performing a cesarean section.
The plaintiffs, Chastity and Noelle Fabrizio, filed the medical malpractice suit in October 2019 over allegations that the hospital failed to properly manage the labor and delivery of their child, Telor Fabrizio, in May 2014.
