White & Case is advising Perdaman Chemicals and Fertilisers on the development and financing of the US$4.2 billion greenfield Karratha Urea Project in Western Australia.
Development of the plant by the West Australian company is expected to commence mid-2023 and once operational the plant will transform natural gas into urea, a widely used fertiliser. It will have an annual capacity of two million tonnes.
