Sullivan & Cromwell, Simpson Thacher Act on Japan Post’s $9B Share Sale

 Sullivan & Cromwell and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, together with Big Four Japanese law firms Mori Hamada & Matsumoto and Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, are advising Japan Post on its $9 billion sale of shares in its subsidiary, Japan Post Bank.

The deal will see Japan Post’s stake in its banking arm reduce to about 60% from 89%.
