Linklaters, Cleary Gottlieb Guide First Sustainable Bond With Gender Goals

Linklaters has advised the Republic of Chile on a multicurrency-bond issuance that comes with incentives to achieve gender parity and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the South American country, while Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton represented the underwriters and deal managers.

The copper producer issued $1.15 billion in 4.950% notes due in 2036, $1.10 billion 5.330% due in 2054 and €750 million due in 2034 with those commitments.
