Latham & Watkins has advised a committee of cinema chain group Vue International’s “senior secured lenders” on their successful efforts to acquire the group’s entire share capital.
The cinema chain is the largest privately held cinema group in Europe. Vue’s total existing debt will be reduced by approximately £470 million as a result of the transaction, and the group will also see a capital injection of £75 million.
