Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, together with Austrian firm Schoenherr Attorneys-at-Law, is advising on Nippon Express Holdings’ $1.5 billion acquisition of Austrian logistics company Cargo-Partner.
Nippon Express has announced today the acquisition of the shares of 63 target companies from Cargo Partner in cash through a special purpose company and wholly-owned subsidiary of Nippon Express Europe GMBH for $923 million, subject to net debt and working capital adjustments.
