Domestic Firms Retain Top Spots on UK M&A Rankings

Elite U.K. firms Linklaters, Slaughter and May and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer took the top three spots in legal adviser rankings for domestic M&A in 2022.

The league table showing advisers on the highest value of announced deals with any U.K. involvement by Refinitiv, placed Linklaters first, up from 12th the previous year, after the law firm worked on 84 deals with a combined value of just over $69 billion.
