Deal Watch: Debevoise, Kirkland and V&E Lead $7B Merger, And When Are IPOs Going to Be a Thing Again?

Vinson & Elkins, Debevoise & Plimpton and Kirkland & Ellis all represented principals in the largest announced deal of the week, announced Monday, which saw Focus Financials Partners taken private by Clayton, Dubilier & Rice for $7 billion. 

Meanwhile, there was one new IPO this past week as well as three new SPACs.
