Debt issuances are continuing at a steady clip in 2023. Despite lower transactional activity in recent months, especially in M&A, some debt deals continue to send business to many in Big Law.
For instance, Comcast Corporation recently turned to Davis Polk & Wardwell in a debt issuance valued at an aggregate of $1 billion, with Cahill Gordon & Reindel counseling the underwriters. In another deal in the last week, Waste Management was counseled by Baker Botts in a debt offering valued at an aggregate of $1.25 billion, with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher advising the underwriters.
