Commercial transactions in the energy sector continue to go ’round, leading Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe to hire yet another energy partner on the West Coast.
Patrick Ferguson, most recently the co-chair of Davis Wright Tremaine’s energy practice, joined the firm on Friday in its energy and infrastructure practice in San Francisco. He is the ninth partner to come to the practice since 2022, joining just a day after Orrick announced a combination with 100-lawyer financial services and regulation firm Buckley.
