Thomson Geer chief executive partner Adrian Tembel expects high-volume legal work in Australia will become corporatized. So in addition to leading Thomson Geer, he is aiming to build a sizeable business that handles high-volume legal work in real estate, insurance claims and bank recoveries.
Tembel believes that while complex and bespoke legal work is still best done within a traditional law firm, the economies of scale required to be successful in high-volume legal work mean these practices will have to grow larger and need a structure that facilitates long-term investment.
