Two firms’ recent additions of veteran lawyers in rapidly expanding offices are the latest examples of Big Law firms viewing Charlotte, North Carolina, as a place for growth in a number of practice areas and industries this year.
Some longtime observers of the city’s legal industry said its growth is a natural extension of the Charlotte region’s rapid growth—including a 200% population increase since 2000.
