Heavy rain Wednesday in Miami and Fort Lauderdale saw more than 20 inches of rain in a two-day period.

The flash flood means more rainfall of about 4 to 8 inches is expected across South Florida, with higher than 10 inches possible today, according to the National Weather Service.
