A key lawyer for Boeing has left the company to join a longtime outside counsel firm, Perkins Coie. Mike Paisner, who most recently served as the vice president of international dispute, insured matters and bid protests at Boeing, is joining Perkins Coie’s Seattle office as a litigation partner, the firm said Tuesday.
Before his role as vice president of international disputes at Boeing, Paisner was vice president of 737 Max reporting and compliance from 2021-2022, after the company entered into a deferred prosecution agreement with the DOJ in the wake of two 737 Max airplane crashes killing 346 people. Previously, he was chief counsel of litigation in the company’s commercial airplanes division from 2013 to May 2021.
