Mike Lynch has spent more than a decade defending the sale of his software startup Autonomy to HP. Now he’s been vindicated.

A federal jury on Thursday found the British tech tycoon not guilty of 14 counts of wire fraud and one count of conspiracy for padding the revenues of his software startup Autonomy ahead of its $11 billion sale to HP more than a decade ago. His co-defendant, former vice president of finance Stephen Chamberlain, was also acquitted on all counts.
