Although Morgan & Morgan’s John Yanchunis handles a variety of cases around the country, the bulk of his work revolves around what he calls “the new oil.”

Yanchunis, who is based in Tampa, started his legal career in the early 1980s, a time when Google’s founders weren’t even 10 years old yet. But as tech companies have grown from experiments in Silicon Valley garages to become some of the biggest corporations on the planet, so has Yanchunis and his ability to hold those companies accountable for data privacy breaches.
