While most Florida-founded Am Law firms increased office footprints in 2023, Akerman reduced it by more than 23%.
The firm was at 527,000 square feet of total office space in 2023 from 667,000 in 2022, according to ALM survey data. Meanwhile, Greenberg Traurig has seemingly kept its square footage intact while Holland & Knight only increased its footprint by about 50,000 square feet, despite absorbing Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis’ offices after their merger last year.
