The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit vacated a district court’s summary judgment order in favor of a disability services organization and parents of disabled children who sought to enjoin the enforcement of an Iowa statute that prohibited mask requirements in school.
In a Feb. 27 opinion, Judge Ralph R. Erickson vacated the grant of summary judgment to the plaintiffs, Arc of Iowa and Iowa parents, who sought to enjoin the enforcement of an Iowa statute that prohibits mask requirements in school, after concluding they lacked standing.
